Mezz Axi Cue Value?

A buddy of mine has this Mezz Axi cue, and I really know nothing about it. I played a few racks and it hits very solid. The wrap appears to be some kind of rubber. The shafts are both WX 900 12mm. I really don't know what the value of this cue would be. Any input from the Mezz experts would be helpful.

Mods, please move this if it is in the wrong forum, thanks.

New Mezz Axi with linen wrap is $490 with 700 shaft. With the 900 shaft upgrade, its an additional $80 bucks. Additional 900 shaft is $270 new.

Realistically maybe 500-600
Mezz USA has them new for $490. I paid $300 for AXI-R and wx700 shaft in great condition in 2020. I would think 350? and I don't think the rubber wrap is original, which knocks the price down.

Certainly an interesting thread to see what people think.

Brand new:

$490+$80 for wx9 shaft= $540 + $270 wx9shaft

Brand new $810

Now used should be $300-$500 max

I bet there are dings and scratches. These are pool cues and the butt usually gets all the damage because people are carrying it around like a damn broom stick and hitting everything in sight. One of the things I see people hit are bar stools. Its inevitable.

I had this guy try to sell me a cue and he said its perfect. I looked it over and it had tons of pits and scratches. He wears a ring when he plays so people are oblivious to certain scratches and dings.

Go grab any of your playing cues and look. You will be shocked how much damage you have done to your cue. Not saying the Mezz in the OP is damaged goods but if you look closely you will see its worn.
