I'm sorry. I can accept balls being made on occasion that really shouldn't go in an entertainment event like this, but balls should NEVER roll off like the cueball did here.

Does anyone know why they stopped using Diamond?
I bet they'll use diamond again when its back in the states. I wonder if the table selection was a bipartisan decision. Diamond tables are a lot less forgiving and I could see them picking an "easier" table because missing shots doesn't make for great TV.

I bet they don't --- Rasson signed a sponsorship deal. Matchroom isn't gonna give the $$$$ back.

The Diamonds they have been using in the Mosconi take some bad hit shots as well. I have said this last year. Every year Mary Gray hits a truly horrible shot that bounces at least over 1 diamond up but still goes in.

Here is some shit shots that went at last years Mosconi...

https://youtu.be/hlJy_C4Z0Js?t=841
https://youtu.be/eDyeydW1EPs?t=875 7ball on this break should not have fell.
https://youtu.be/ltKt5RX_9mY?t=577 Struck that side rail hard, ball still rattled and fell...
https://youtu.be/ltKt5RX_9mY?t=630 Ball came away from the rail about an inch, still fell.
https://youtu.be/ltKt5RX_9mY?t=1349 9 ball was hit horribly.

Here is Mary Gray shitting another 7 ball in the 2014 Mosconi...

These balls should not go in.

Funny stuff.

There was also a back underneath bank by one of the Euros that, when it came off the short rail, every 1pocket player in the country went, "Naw, missed it short." And yet... it caught the far outside of the corner pocket and got sucked in.

Lou Figueroa

I know what shot your talking about, I believe it was Ouschan. I remember seeing it roll down the table thinking, "yes we've got this rack." Only to see the Hoover turned on and the ball sucked down. The US still needs to break and play safe better. Hopefully the table will tighten up a bit too.

SE7EN please keep these going! I'm sure there'll be funnier moments to capture as the next few (hopefully 3+ days) go on. Also usually forgiving pockets help the americans but yesterday it really helped euros. especially snooker player mark gray lol. That Daz gif was funny af!

Sponsorship money I have to imagine.

I do like the looks of the Rasson table, especially never having your foot hit the table leg. But I agree that the shelf is too shallow. I wonder if that reflects standard Rasson specs or something Matchroom requested?

please make a GIF about that fluke 5 ball by Niels... the q ball goes and knocks every ball on the table and still lands perfectly on the 6 with angle for 7...

Yes, the cue ball drifted badly but it was still a bad shot from Rodney. The cue ball had no business down that rail. Awful pace from a lousy player.
Ignorant comments.
The table obviously rolls off and indicatios are that the particular roll off there is to the right and downhill...causing both lateral and vertical influence.

Rodneys palmares speak to his proficiency.

The only reason it went on the rail is the horrible roll-off so I'm not sure what you are talking about here.
