Today will be all One Pocket action one loss side match @ noon the hotseat match will be @ 4pm and semi final @ 8pm.

Friday will be One Pocket finals (race to 6) @ noon and the 10 Ball ring game $500 added $100 entry @ 8pm.

Saturday and Sunday will be the $5,000 added Open 9 Ball featuring a full field of 128 killer players.



Lots of cash riding on all these matches, now we are down to the final 6 players. :thumbup:

Terry, Thanks much for the pic of my best friend in pool, (and life) Charlie Brown!..Looks like he hasn't missed too many meals!..We are still in touch after 60 yrs.!..He was always my major stakehorse!..He was also best man at my wedding!
A few years ago, his wife Dorothy, and my wife passed away almost similtaniously..They were also very close to each other too!..Sad times.

We first met at some pool room tournament in the south, maybe Georgia in the late 70's if I was too guess. After the matches wrapped up, we rung it up, I think Daulton was also one of us 4....All I can say, it was one of the best/fun ring games I've been in, those southern boys sure know how to ''kick the can'' compared to those northern boys. The banter and BS was just right, and the drool of ST was ever prevalent as each good and bad roll occurred.

Congratulations to Young gun Billy Thorpe for his outstanding playing in the 1Pocket division at the Inaugural Scotty Townsend Memorial. He defeated the South Dakota kid Shane Van Boening with a score of 6-4 in the race to 6 finals. Excellent job Billy and great finish for Shane getting 2nd. Third place was earned by Evan Lunda with some fantastic shooting and Hillbilly Charlie Bryant secured a respectable fourth place, great playing guys.
