If I had a choice, I always prefer either leather or wrap less. Out of all the cues I have used with linen, only Mezz linen wraps have felt good to me.

Jim,

Blue Mountain has gone the way of Cortland so if and when you can locate any at any time,
just buy the darn stuff because it will always be in demand since it’s no longer being made.

Here’s a few examples of what’s available but I’m preaching to the choir. You know more
about cue suppliers and cue making than I’ll ever know. CL#9 would be my all time favorite.

Matt

I have one cue with Cortland and it is just a fantastic wrap IMO - Allows the grip hand to function as it should easier than any other wrap /-again - just my opinion - if you have never played with well wrapped Cortland then I think you are in for a pleasant surprise

Yes, the Mezz / Exceed linen wraps are awesome. Not sure if a linen wrap as smooth and polished like that could be duplicated by a cue repair shop.
