Nothing is "free".....
It's new, might be unopened. I bought a couple then he shipped me some more asking me to sell them, I told him they are junk and he agreed lol. I wont say who he was though.

Big Dogs should be getting those 4 big tables in today. 8 Diamond 9 footers should officially be the start of some big table tournaments. I think that is good news.

Sounds good. When does the one pocket get going? Once a month I could probably schedule in a tournament. Hard pressed to get there every week (and I can't donate that much anyway).:welcome:

1pkt is every Sat. at 12-12:30. normally 4 to 8 people show up.
You will get them, you will use them, and you will only 'think' you break good. I almost wish these tournaments were rack your own and you only get 10 seconds to rack. Like Paul Baker says, "Anyone who takes that long with the rack is obviously trying to cheat you!" He said a name but I didn't.
I have to start playing again so I don't sleep all morning on Saturdays. Plus I kind of miss those early Saturday 3 or 4 hour battles with Justin who will in a very funny way admit he was hoping to get lucky moving balls but obviously was playing safe.

They finally announced this tourney. They didn't want to announce it before they had tables in hand I think. Paul has been working on it since July though copying what Julie G. wrote up.
Coming soon (Oct 15 - 17)! Big Dogs will be hosting a tournament featuring One Pocket on Friday, 9Ball on Saturday, and 8Ball on Sunday! Each even will have it's own calcutta.
One Pocket - $50/person + $10 greens fee ($10 added per person)
9Ball - $25/person + $5 greens fee ($5 added per person)
8Ball - $25/person + $5 greens fee ($5 added per person)

Of course they can't. About 2 and a half weeks to let people know about this too. The Peoria Tourney is big, Olathe is big, and this is sandwiched in between. Somebody needs to be in Peoria pumping this tourney up. Otherwise Jess will win all 3 events unless you get Indiana, KS, MN, Wisconsin, and Illinois involved.
The numbers will be down though cause its not a $2500 added event. I've found that's the magic number that seems to get the monsters to come out.

LOL internet works funny. My buddy claims there is a guy in NC now that plays the 8 under Tony Watson that is coming to Des Moines, then to Olathe. He is left handed. Supposedly coming to bust everyone. I don't know his name or what he looks like, but he is left handed and plays great that will be how you tell who he is. This is the Public Service Announcement so if someone gets stole from in the next couple weeks, I warned you.
Well if he busts everyone he will leave town with about $37.50 then.
LOL I think he can squeeze more out than that if he plays it right. There are some silly egos in our pool room at any given moment. I actually don't care if he busts 90% of them. I'd be surprised to see most of them play but that's another story I won't elaborate on.
The funniest part of it was my boy told he the guy hit him with so many twos and threes he started calling him Michael Jordan. I have a good physical description of him though so I will probably trap myself getting the 6 at some point for a good lesson like I always do.
