Which Silver?

In a few months I will be doing simple silver inlays for the first time. What is the best to use for cues? Dead soft 925, half hard 925, dead soft Argentium? Something else? A search didn't yield a preference.

Try youtube and look for knife makers who use silver wire. Argentinium does not tarnish. Simply put, dead soft would be used for tight small turns in the inlay, half hard on longer lines or slower curves. Go on Amazon, look for jig that allows one to place curves, or turns in wire. Reasonable in price and will make it easier for you to start using wire for inlays.

I would think pure 999 will be the easiest to work and will have a better shine than 925.
