Just a heads up.
Look left at the Avatar.
I'm the good looking distinguished gentleman with the gray hair on the left.
I'll probably be wearing a black leather jacket.

I came in first and he was second.Just the natural order of things.
You can park in the lot just to the west across the street.
West would be towards the Mountains

It got started pretty late last night. I got a seat near the TV table and watched John Schmidt and Jose Parica play. Jose won. It's probably hard to see on the stream but Jose has incredible touch with the cue ball,it was very interesting to see up close.
The next match was Johnny Archer and Nick Varner. By this time I had been up since 5:30 AM and I only watched a couple games and had to leave.
The place was packed and some what hard to walk around. The one thing about being an old guy was I got a lot people letting me pass with a "go ahead Sir" Damn do I really look that old :yikes:
Because it was so packed the best viewing was from outside. Felt has huge windows and the curtains were open.So standing at the windows there was a great view of 4 tables from about 10 feet away and you could smoke.Smoke what you want,it's legal here.
Chris Byrne was on site to do cue repairs but it seemed that no one seemed to know it.Hes back near the kitchen.
I'll be there again today and try to update later.

I'll be there at about 12n today and plan to stay through about 5:30pm; although, I might be in and out. Tom Ross and I plan to have lunch and we might play a little pool (elsewhere).

I'll look for you guys to say hello. Keep an eye out for me also. I'll tall (6'3"), skinny and look like my profile photo, with glasses (and short hair). I'll also be with Tom Ross (my co-author and main shooter on VEPS), for people who know him.

Please say hi to both me and Tom if you spot us.

Catch you later,
Dave

You Highlanders have all the moves.

You highlanders have all the moves you learned from the swampers.

There, I fixed that for you Joey. :grin-square:

Joking aside, it's was so crowded last night I looked for you and couldn't find you. Hopefully I'll run into you today.

it was so packed last night that I could give a sardine the 8 and the break for being packed in so tight.
It was good to see all the support.

Sooooo...a young sardine saw a submarine for his first time...
...he said "Look at that! A can of people!"

I was there today and it was packed. I had to stand all day and these old legs gave out at around 4PM.
I think there should be a rule at these events that are packed. Here it is.
If you are in a chair and an older person then you wants it,you have to give it up.
