Wood Shaft v CF

I own two Rhino carbon fiber shafts, one for my plane cue, and one for my brake cue. They both cost me under $200 each. Where can you get a decent wood shaft for under $200? There are some nice wood shafts Cuetec makes for their Avid Era cues for about $150, but for about $40 more you can get a Rhino carbon fiber cue.
Viking and Mezz have some around that ballpark.

I will keep Rhino in mind. Thanks.

I was skeptical prior to ordering a rhino CF shaft, but really am pleased with it. A bunch of guys I play pool with weekly also purchased one and like it as well. I haven't heard of anybody who dislikes them.

Way back in the day, in professional tennis, the debate was wood vs. metal...then some composites found their way in, with graphite being the most popular...and so on and so on.

With cues, isn't it simply personal preference?
