CTE Shot Chart

I had a chart from Stan's 1st DVD that showed 40 some odd shots along with another sheet that showed set ups and what the pivot was for each shot. These were 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. I had these in the cabinet at the clubhouse and someone took them. I still have the 1st DVD but darned if I can remember how I got them transferred to the 8 1/2 x 11" sheets. My excuse is that I have had 2 separate bouts with cancer that have entailed 78 days of radiation in the interim. (I am currently a 6 time survivor) I think that the only way I could have gotten the practice sheets was if they were posted on here and I printed them out and then got them enlarged. I am relatively healthy now and can devote a couple of hours a day to practicing CTE and would sure like to be able to do it intelligently. Any help out there?

I am currently working my way through the "Final Chapter" very slowly.

Thanks.

I believe it was mohrt that came up with the two or three pages of CTE/Pro One practice shots and I believe he put it into a pdf document. Perhaps he or Stan will post a copy you can get. I'm not even sure I still have my hard copy. I looked and couldn't find the pdf file.

Thanks NobCityPool. That puts me a step closer. Frustrating as I'm
sure that whoever took the sheets didn't have clue what they had. You always seem willing to help and it is appreciated.

I bought Pro 1 when it first became available. Found lack of being able to print the table layouts ect.. to be a problem. I enquired. here some and ask Stan if I could somehow get a copy.
He was less than helpful saying he didn't want his product out in data form?????

Didn't and still doesn't make sense to me. I've moved on :-)

I have these "Pro One drill charts" you've been asking about.
As I understand it Stan put a stop to them being available anymore on the public domain.
I emailed Stan as to why, and Stan gave his reasons and his reasons why, which were fair enough and I could understand his actions.
I'm unable to share you these charts because of Stans request and because it is his material.
Stan has put a lot of work and countless hours into his 2 DVD'S.
In reality you could watch the dvd and produce your own for your own needs if you were handy with the computer or simply pause the DVD at the diagram and then push the print screen button on windows then go to paint.
Cheers

Thanks Beiberlvr, I'll get my grandson over as I am a technological dinosaur. I have both DVD's but not a DVR or DVD player at the clubhouse where my available practice table is located. Buy the DVD but make sure you have a photographic memory. Hmmmmmmm.

I'm sure that Stan's reasons are valid.

All the shots are on the dvd. It shouldn't take much time to make a chart if that's what you want. I personally found more value in working on a small group of shots, at one time, versus trying to shoot the whole chart. That can lead to a lot of frustration early on.

Given the incredible number of YouTube videos and other material Stan had put out there for free, I find it difficult to understand how someone would find fault with him if he didn't publish this shot chart for general consumption. There will always be a few haters apparently.

If you're son is doing it, he can also get the job done by playing the DVD on a computer in FULL Screen Mode, and CTRL + prt sc (print screen), and pasting them into the paint program that comes on every computer. Same thing, but cuts out a step.

Bieber, c roscoe ' s comment wasn't loving. Lol

Like I said, if someone wants the shots, just grab a pad of paper and watch the dvd's. If someone isn't willing to put the time in to do that, they're not going to put the time in to learn the system. I've created my own CTE/Pro One drills so I never really used the shot chart anyway.

Really!!! You used haters...beiber said no one was hating.

You may be the one that is overly one sided.

I stated I bought, couldn't print the charts, inquired, had several PM with Stan.

He stated as I wrote he didn't wish to have them out in digital form,

I moved on.....if you find that statement negative....so be it

Seems like oftentimes if someone is not singing hale to CTE some seem to assume the person is bashing it. And that is one reason some with questions (note didn't say doubts) do not bother posting.

If there was no malcontent intended by your post, I apologize. Since I saw no purpose to your post, aside from a complaint or dig, I made the assumption I did.

No one's hating.

What's one of the first things we all tell new users? We tell them to practice the reference shots. Now whether they go through groups of shots like you or I did, or through the entire chart at one time, having the chart is still necessary. Every shot on the chart is crucial in the development of a new or inexperienced user. I know it's easy to make a chart, but easy and hard are relative terms based on how knowledgeable one is with computers.

I have Pro Skill Drills and Joe Tucker's Guaranteed Improvement. I don't go through every drill in a single session, but I still bring the book in with me when I go practice.

Odd considering YOU are the one that suggested maybe Stan would post them.
I followed with I had been down that road and supplied his response coupled with why the link may be gone for those who put the 2&2 together.

Many thanks to those who helped. The thought put forward that a large portion of its availability was dependent on ones computer literacy is certainly true. Some very considerate people went out of their way to help me out and to say I am appreciative is an understatement! I have made sure that the problem will never reoccur. I never thought that I would ever be the source of even the slightest disagreement on any of our forums. Just goes to show that anything is flammable, almost. Once again sharing AZ'ers have stepped up!

Ah yes, malcontent, infighting, and finger-pointing in Aiming System Land.

It's amazing how forum problems follow the root cause no matter where it (the root cause) goes...

One observation I have is that if anything -- no matter how minor -- is said in even the slightest critical tone of an aiming system founder or creator (even if meant in a troubleshooting or matter-of-fact way), the word "hater" is bandied about.

Sorry to say, but it looks like we have a deity complex going on here.

Confused as to "why a chart"....?

Don't beat me up.
I sincerely want to know.
The CTE is a system. Since it truly is a system, why is it necessary to have charts of various shots to practice with?
Doesn't the system take care of any and all shots with his 15-30-45 concept?
Why not just lay out all kind of tough shots....(those LONG ones when you're almost pinned on the rail, for example), apply the system to the shot, and shoot it into the hole.
I've watched Mr. Shuffet demonstrate this on youtube and by golly he can flat shoot those balls into the holes. No doubt about it. So why does someone, as a student, have to practice some complicated chart of shots?
Why not just break the balls and use the system to run out from where the balls lay??
Trying to memorize those shots on that chart would run a guy bat crazy.
Well???
