She had such a big smile, I knew I picked a good one, (table of course.) Table is very old, the last owner had it from 1965 until I got it, it was a home table all of those years. Prior to that it was in a bar in Albany Oregon from new, I am the third owner. All aluminum is original. Thanks for looking.

Did you re-finish the wood? Damn that thing is awesome. Pool-table porn at its finest.

I redid the rails with a gloss finish, they had never been redone and they may be close to 80 years old. The rest of the table got a semi gloss finish. I redid the legs with new skins and the sides are new, the old sides had one bad spot that I wouldn't try to fix, one leg had a small hole that had been fixed years earlier and it was noticeable.

The table is the nine footer for the other guy who asked what size.

Thanks to the both of you for the kind words.

Nice table, but did you know there’s a large animal of some kind underneath it?

That was my first ever Bigfoot, oh the memories.

Nothing works better in the core of a cue than the bones from a Bigfoot, well except for the horn from a Unicorn but they are harder to find.

That table looks awesome!! Those rails look amazing!!! Are they the walnut? They are confusing me because they look like rosewood. I have restored about 20 of them to date and that finish looks great. Good job

Wow! What a great way to keep her happy...you are indeed a lucky guy. And think about this...some guys have wives who would look at a pool table as an anniversary gift as they'd look at a vacuum cleaner...

Simply awesome! It’s rare to see an Anniversary with Rosewood rails. Either special order or canned from a Centennial because all the stock Anniversaries came with Walnut or later on Formica.

Your wife actually likes pool?? I'm not allowed to even speak the word.

Not the point, you see, we all learned from Fred Flintstone.

Buy your wife a bowling ball.

When her fingers don't fit the holes, hmm,

Same with a Pool Table, just make her think it's hers.

Oh crap, she just read this, logging off, time to run, good dayyyyyyy,,

BTW, Thanks to all who have commented, I gave a greenie to every one of you, some had greenies from the past and I couldn't give any more.

Nice looking tables in some avatars here, Thanks and Thanks again, Dave.
