I sell Steve a good bit of leather and since he is from Georgia also, I see him out at some of the larger open tournaments. So I have seen a lot of his work. His leather wraps are great. He knows how to do the "seamless" smooth leather as well as stack, lizard and all the other prints. He also won't take forever to get around to it as it is his specialty. He does wraps for a well known cuemaker if that tells you anything. I definitely rate his leather work a couple of notches above mine.
Mike Webb is also very good at leather.

You can also try Keith Josey out of Savannah, GA. His leather wraps are phenomenal. You would swear his leather wraps have no seam whatsoever.

what is the difference between seamless and stack???

Seamless isn't actually seamless. It is one piece of leather wrapped around the wrap area and seamed in a straight line down the length of the wrap areal. A stack wrap is leather, but is wound around the wrap in the same manner linen is. The individual pieces are leather are wider than a linen thread by a lot, but the concept is the same. See it here Stack Wrap. I've had it on a cue, it doesn't look or feel bad, but IMO a traditional leather wrap is better.

Leather or lizard Steve will do a perfect job whichever you choose.
Also if your in the market for a jump break cue you should seriously consider
one of Steve's custom JB cues. They give the Sledgehammer the six ball and the all the breaks.
Steve can be reached at 706-776-1252

Read post number five above for a definition of the so called seamless wrap. There is another leather wrap that is wound like linen besides the stack wrap. Unlike the stack wrap it is round leather cord and is applied and pressed pretty much like irish linen. Dan Goble sells it.
