Is this a counterfeit predator

I purchased a predator 3k7 and it looks like it may be counterfeit. Look at these photos and tell me what you think. The predator logo looks a little different and there is a ring in the butt where there shouldnt be, almost like the joint was replaced. There is no serial number on joint or butt too. Thoughts?

Looks like the butt has material coming off inlay too. Could be normal wear tho.

You can feel that black ring on the top of the butt as if it was broke and repaired. But i cant tell if logo is correct because it is different from my other predator (much newer) logo

Definitely been repaired. If you can return it do so. Did you buy it unseen?

Here is another. Look at the nickle ring. Looks to be losing paint or finish. But its 20 year old cue so may be normal. Cue looks in really good shape too with very few nicks but the z2 shaft is beat to hell. 🤷🏼‍♂️

The picture of the two logos from the shafts (314-3 and z2) confuse me. The logo looks very slightly different. Did they change the logo between 2002 and 2019?

Thats what I thought on the uniloc too. I had this same cue back in the day. The 3k7. Ive been trying to find one for a while and this one popped up. Trying to decide if the repair is going to bother me so much or effect the play that I should return it. Or if it is a counterfeit cue i will return immediately.

How will that effect the play or the value of the cue if it had been repaired?
Not the point. Takes a LOT of force to break a fore=end like that. Keep it if you want. If you paid more than 200 for it you got worked over.

$700 with a revo shaft. So more like i paid $350 for the butt and z2 shaft. Youre right tho. To break it there they had to swing it like a baseball bat.

Your call. I can't believe they didn't say it had been fixed.

There also isnt a predator logo on the butt cap. And my old 3k7 had the logo on the butt cap. Worries me its just completely fake.
