So here is my other nowraps plus the Jacoby posted earlier.
One is a McDermott 1 off that they did as a variation of veneer inlays of an existing cue.
Then there is my Schon, my main player till now. Somewhat simple design, but an incredible cue.
Then the Jacoby shown earlier. I really like this cue, will it become my main player, still undecided, it would be really hard to decide on the Schon or Jacoby at this time. Both use the same shafts.
Leagues start in a week, guess I'll have to decide then.
Always looking for more nowraps, but they would have to be one of the pin types I have.

Show me what you got! Looking for some inspiration...

Having played against somebody using a very Jazzy and expensive Zen cue, I am thinking that I am going to walk that road... He has the contact and language ability to help me get what I want. I've been looking for another cue as a spare or main player and thought this a suitable way to use some of my end of contract bonus. Been looking for a second cue for a while, as I travel between locations and hate the rigmarole involved of taking it on the plane or high speed train (The Tonkin that I was looking at was sold while I was on vacation :( )

My current player is a Vigus. Purple Heart into curly maple with veneers. Simple and beautiful.

So, I was thinking very simple; ebony butt sleeve, 6 points with a purple heart forearm. Possibly some veneers.

Thanks for sharing :)

Pechauer Pro Series. Black Palm points and inlays and a matching stained maple handle.

that absolutely glows! lovely piece of wood.
Pretty neat, somewhat uncommon little cue. I think it's a model 86-6, or 86-06. Not a tremendous amount of information out there with regards to these cues.
Thank you for the compliments.
😎👍

I think an ebony wood handle instead of leather wrap would look great with the wood scheme in the first two pictures. Last one is my custom made sneaky from Schmelke...
Very nice.

That sneaky is awesome! and totally agree with you about replacing the grip. I was reading somewhere about making linen wraps become 'wrapless feeling' by coating them. Maybe something like that could be done on black linen?

I totally love this cue. Segmented Handle is Madrone Burl and the rest of the cue is Pheasant Wood. I really like how the white ring work is subtle and not over powering.

Thanks @Coos Cues !!

This is the first time I have seen the term Pheasant Wood. Is it a variation or a type of tree? Sorry if i am not wording the question correctly.

I had some cues made for guests to use when they come over to play. This is the only wrapless one. It’s not nearly as fancy as many in this thread, but I was just trying to get a variety of nice cues to have available for guests.

The forearm and butt are Wenge; the handle is Madrone Burl. The rings are Snakewood with silver and ivory accents. The shaft is from a group that survived Hurricane Harvey, hence the coloring near the joint. The ferrule is ivory.

I like the way this one plays a lot.

If weighting is an issue, I've seen competent Cue-makers actually use purple-heart, and/or maple in the handle, and either stain or paint them jet black. If I remember correctly, the results were pretty sporty.
I think Mike Webb pulled off something like that, and I thought he nailed it. I could be mistaken, and if so, I am sure Mike will correct me.
