Van Boening vs. Gorst 10-Ball Race to 120, Rematch June 2025 -- General Comments Thread

Since the SVB/Gorst lengthy rematch starts later today, I thought I would start a new thread for comments on the new match. I'm not sure of the starting time, but it was about 6:00 pm local time (Louisville, KY) each of the 3 days last year. The ending times for each of the 3 days last year were about 4:00 am, 3:20 am, and 4:00 am. (ugh on that!)

Shane won their first such match 120-116 after being 10 games down at 98-108. Who knows what's ahead this time!

The ppv streaming is on xpool.live.

I paid last year and had it in the background and then watched the finish, which was amazing pool.

If I owned a pool room it would without a doubt be playing on most TVs all 3 days.
I have time to watch maybe 3-5 racks per day as things are so no, not buying it.

I just checked. xpool.live has the scheduled start time at 6:00 pm EDT (about 40 minutes from now).

My buddy and I got the stream, and it’s not working at all. They seem to be playing a small portion on a loop that’s not live.

Does anybody have any advice?

I can't watch it full screen on either an iPhone or iPad, it just freezes and/or loops. Had to go to the computer.

It's been running well for a while now on my end. 9-4 SVB. SVB has won every rack he's broke.
