I would like to try Green Triangle. Blue is a bit messyI agree with you. Green triangle is the best cheap option.

T10 worth the cost. Not best for the money, I mean the best performance overall
My first piece of chalk lasted almost 2 years, that's about a dollar a month or 25 cents a week, I'll call that cheap, I use it because it is cleaner, nothing against other chalk, but in the end if it only costs you 25 cents week......that is cheap......Not best for the money, I mean the best performance overall
i dont see where the shape of the chalk matters with regards to wear and ease to apply if you brush the tip with the chalk.I’ve said it before and will repeat it again……Pagulayan Chalk’s Shape makes it a much better version of TAOM.
It’s easier to apply so it wears down better than oval. So it should last longer, plus it doesn’t roll & hide if dropped.
Get a box of Pagulayan Chalk….it’s the cube shape version of TAOM….pool balls are designed to be round, not chalk.
All I know is that the cube shape feels more natural to hold, you can brush apply chalk from the corner shape of the chalk to ensure it wears evenly and drop it or knock it off the rail and TAOM chalk can roll 15-20’ away. It often hides itself really well when you set it free. Pagulayan chalk has the shape that TAOM should have always been…..a cube, IMO.i dont see where the shape of the chalk matters with regards to wear and ease to apply if you brush the tip with the chalk.
its easy to get a square chalk holder for the round taom v10 to prevent it from the "roll and hide".

if you accept that taom v10 can be put in a square chalk holder the drop and roll away argument against the v10 is moot. All I know is that the cube shape feels more natural to hold, you can brush apply chalk from the corner shape of the chalk to ensure it wears evenly and drop it or knock it off the rail and TAOM chalk can roll 15-20’ away. A round of V10 or a cube of Pagulayan will last over a year of playing several times a week. It works out to pennies a day. Couple that with the reduced filth and wear on the cloth and such and it pays for itself. Not best for the money, I mean the best performance overall
If anyone bothers to use a square chalk holder to make TAOM apply more easily, efficiently, effectively, comfortablyif you accept that taom v10 can be put in a square chalk holder the drop and roll away argument against the v10 is moot.
the square chalk holder is what you grab when you grab for the v10 chalk so it feels like a square chalk when chalking for the most part
I do not think the pag and v10 are identicalIf anyone bothers to use a square chalk holder to make TAOM apply more easily, efficiently, effectively, comfortably
or let’s just say for any conceivable reason anyone can conjure up, it just seems logical and practical minded to just
wonder aloud why in heavens sake they wouldn’t want a TAOM produced product equivalent to V10 in a cube shape?
The only reason I can come up with is doubting whether the Pagulayan chalk is the same high quality as V10 or else
thinking i5 is inferior in some way despite having no evidence to support such a notion. Aside from that, if you bother
going to find a nice square chalk holder that fits your needs, I think you are trying to make a square peg fit a round hole.
IMO, just buy the Pagulayan chalk in a shape you likely prefer otherwise you’d be using an oval chalk holder for TAOM.
Personally, if you just used a nice chalk pouch, the chalk’s shape is less important….as long as you don’t drop TAOM.
yesNothing is special about V-10 except it is very
CLEAN on HANDS, SHAFTS, but other then that is still just Chalk.
