List of pro players who stick to wood as their playing shaft

I've been using and experimenting with CF shafts for the last 6 months since I've returned to the game. I bough 4 CF shafts from mid to high levels.

My 2 cents - As someone that knows how to take care of his cues and shafts, doing my own tips and shaft care and don't travel with cues anymore besides driving to the pool hall, I could have just stayed with my wooden Predator 314-2 shafts that I already have that are still in good condition.

Having said that, If I was to buy a new cue, a first cue or an upgrade, or maybe it's just time for a new shaft, I would only go with a CF shaft. and not just that, I would get one of the higher end shafts, as there is a difference in performance and deflection.
A Predator wooden shaft goes for $360, Predator CF goes for $500, The CF shafts will last longer so in the long run, it not more expansive.

If the pros like Gorst SVB Filler etc. go back to wood Cf shafts wouldn't be so popular .

Yes it does, but, you can't buy multiple world championships, those you must earn.....
Right, exactly my point, and he could earn them with wood, carbon or whatever anyone else wanted to pay him to use. Carbon isn’t “future tech” it’s money in pockets.

SSP you are right sir you must earn them but you can earn them with any descent cue if you have the skill. Hendry won seven world championships with a $53 cue which he called a cheap cue unreal .

Ken Doherty's cost him a fiver, won a world championship, and he's still using it now.

My opinion only i don't like CF shafts not my thing i always liked wood and still do ,$700 CAD for a Revo no thank you.

Biado loves the Vantage shaft. I recently switched to it and I must say, I love it.

If you don't like CF shafts you shouldn't use them, a CF shaft will not make you play better, that doesn't mean CF shafts are bad, my whole cue is CF, it works for me, I owned some great wood shafts, after years of use the way they played changed, also the 2 shafts I owned played slightly different so I had a "favorite" shaft, in my experience with Becue cues I find my cue plays the same with both of the same shafts I own, that means if a tip pops off or some other problem arises I can simply put on my other shaft and not have to make any adjustments, it's why I use CF cues, I don't know one pro player using Becue cues and I could not care less, Becue cues doesn't pay anyone to use their cues.

If they got paid to, like they are paid to use CF
Story i heard about SVB was that within about ten shots with the Cynergy he was sold, never goin back. No arm twisting involved, he said it was clearly the best shaft he'd ever hit. I'm sure what CT pays him( around 200k/year supposedly) is sweet but he's not going to use a shaft he doesn't like.
