I've been thinking of flattening the G10 like that and installing a Taom (red) over it. The G10 breaks well, but its slick as glass
and I like just a little more grip for jumping.
I took just enough off to have a flat spot in the center. I took off the tip of the dome.
The flatter place is no larger than an eraser and probably smaller.
I have a break cue that works well 18oz. However its not a great jumper, until I filed it flatter like my jump cue and
now I only carry it. It has a G 10 tip. When curved it dances off the cue ball a lot. The jump cue was almost flat and it
jumps as well as the Propel and that is saying something.
As a kid I always looked for a light cue on the rack.
I had a guy make me a stick with at 3/8 x 10 pin that weighs about 12oz. plus shaft I'm at 15.2
and it plays amazingly. The new cloth is so pressure sensitive there is no reason to play with a heavy cue
in my opinion.
Another thing I don't understand is what are owners getting out of installing the Digital Pool System. If its $10 a month to see whats going on in the room I can't imagine they are getting much exposure in the room.
Definitely. They must have alcohol and food to go with it. The painful reality is that the space the Pool Room occupies
might be better used as an event center for all kinds of interests and for rent because the cost of the tables adds to the
amount of investment in a rental shell they don't...
The thing that I don't understand is why there isn't a Room Owners Association and why they aren't a major player
in the professional sport along with players and the manufacturers on board for the purposes of a core US tour at
least at the Semi-Pro level. It just seems like there is cog in the...
This was a very hard fought out match with copious amounts of fine cue ball control.
Probably more so in one place than other matches that I've seen.
I've a new appreciation for both players especially Bustamante.
