Maybe the greatest shot EVER! ralf souquet

I can't argue that it is a great shot! But the greatest shot ever? Come on. I can think of many other great shots. I also play this shot very often with a pretty good success ratio depending on the situation. I wouldn't risk taking this shot when I'm playing for money unless I couldn't see, at...

    Aiming at "Center Pocket"

Lol. Me too :) Did I say that?!... First of all thank you. And...nope. I'd rather tell you the real one. But answer me this: What does Dracula mean to you...any of you...all of you? Regarding CTE, it depends... Do what? Try to limit the margin of error for improved accuracy? :)

Things that irritate you on the table.

Now that i take a better look at the topic title "...ON the table" i remember: Sometimes the light can really be an annoying issue.

Things that irritate you on the table.

Friends who refuse to play for money, a symbolic amount of course because of their "principles". It's not like we're hustling each other but they won't play for a dime... However, if we play for 7 hours straight, they keep the score with atomic precision. It's 15-10...And I'm like No, it's...

Things that irritate you on the table.

Myself: -sweaty hands -anxiety -when I talk to much -when I am distracted -time pressure Opponent: -when he talks to much -when he brags -Especially when I see an opponent complaining about missed shots although he's not good enough or he attempts, from the very beginning, an 'impossible' shot...

What things outside of "common practices" that improves your game

Some of them may be "common practice" to some people, like: I also picture a shot in my mind before i take it. But others, may not: -I never carry anything in my pockets (like keys, phone, etc) so i can easily lean against the table. -I never drink alcohol in competitions or when i play for...

    Aiming at "Center Pocket"

Lol. I'm new to this forum but pretty active on many other and as far as I know, off-topic isn't a good thing. But if nobody has a problem with this yet, no, we don't have vampires here in Romania :) I could tell you a really nice story but not here, maybe in a PM if you like. However, it all...

    Aiming at "Center Pocket"

Based on what you said so far I'd rather think of the dynamics of a knife throw by someone trained to kill who has no target. ("Missing a shot is not due to not having a target.") Yet again, I agree, that's just the way I see things. You're different approach is no problem to any of us. So...

    Aiming at "Center Pocket"

@fabfastfredyy I agree with everything you say. However, you may have misunderstood me: When I take a shot, I always try to send the OB to the center of the pocket. I don't argue about all the factors which influence the accuracy of the shot. Did you really think i don't know all this? :) But...

    Aiming at "Center Pocket"

Hi all, I am Andrew, from Romania, nice to meet you all, great forum. This is a very popular sport in Romania at amateur level and also poorly represented at Federation Level. There is no legal entity to represent the interests of the players in any official competitions. Enough about me for...
