    New Pierce Cues

Those are some classy combinations of wood color and texture - bumper to joint. I hope I get to put that zircote and olive beast you have for me through the works this weekend.

    Bullet Proof Glass Tips.... Incognito?

Wouldn't the hardness of glass just destroy the cueball? I've been thinking this stuff would be awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOEBR3DcqN0

    Not earl again....

I can't find the interview right now, but I seem to recall him saying he wears them in between matches to keep his muscles from getting cold. Makes sense... I guess...

    Cue butt thickness

We were all having a civil gentlemanly conversation about big round butts. How did your mind go to shrinkage?:grin-square: I wonder what to think of the trend towards longer cues.

    Need a little help.

I really like the antler. The way it's done is very creative. Possibly this is the same guy? http://www.muellers.com/Collectible-Cues.html Joe Sanko Custom Cues 2364 Tamiami Trail E Naples, FL 34112 (239) 732-1300

    Cue butt thickness

I feel that thinner handles tend to encourage a more natural cradling grip on the cue and discourage twisting the cue. Honestly though, this may be the least important spec on a cue for me. I like skinny butts, shapely butts, and big round butts too.

When a road player comes to town.........

I can't say the owner does anything special about it. We have a few players though that tend to greet outsiders with a large smile.

    Samsara break cue

I currently use a JB-04 and can give a good recommendation for it. It breaks and jumps very well while also being quite attractive. If you don't choose Samsara, I still recommend their break tip above any others. If you're looking purely at function for breaking, it's my opinion that the...

    Meucci or Pechauer?

Pechauers are well made stiff hitting cues with some of the best quality shaft wood you can find. Although that's rather moot with a predator shaft. Meuccis are a soft hit and with often quite flexible shafts. Sometimes you can find a good one, but it's the exception. Also PM sent.

    Standard Radial Pin?

I just looked up some threads on this subject. A Uni-loc Radial is appears to be ~7.6tpi, but there are those who have made their own 3/8x8. Also it seems that there have been come slight differences in diameter as well. I've always just assumed radial meant Uni-loc radial, but I guess that...

    Standard Radial Pin?

I don't think the uni-loc radial pitch is exactly 8tpi it's somewhere between 7 and 8. The one is the picture looks to be more ~10, but I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a whole mess of sizes. edit: Sorry, I didn't see the "Royce" until afterwards. I'm sure he'll have more accurate info.
