    Max cue weight questions?

My question is who's gonna enforce it? Or, who's gonna care? Or, who's gonna know? The only scale at my pool hall is the one the servers use to measure out 5oz of french fries to go with my delicious burger. I don't see them walking around checking cues with it.

    break cues?

I think too many people focus on the wrong thing concerning break cues. It's not about a light cue, or a heavy cue, or what predator says, or what the forum says, or what your buddy uses, it's about what weight works for your body and your break. The absolute best way to find your ideal break...

From Kamui SS to Tiger Emerald

No, it wasn't a mistake, unless you changed tips right before the tournament. It's good to experiment with different tips. What I suggest though is staying generally close to the hardness you like. If you're using a super soft maybe switch to a soft, and so on. You jumped from a super soft to a...

    Cue tip size help

Not sure what you mean, but the smallest tip you can apply is 12.75 mm for a shaft measured the same. With that said, your repairman will use a larger tip and cut it flush to whatever your shaft size is.

first generation Ob vs. OB+ shafts

I can't tell the difference between the shafts I own, Classic / + and 314/3. I've never shot with a 314/2. The only physical differences between all three are the smoothness of the wood and obviously the look. The Classic and the 314/3 are pretty much identical in smoothness and the Classic +...

first generation Ob vs. OB+ shafts

I own both a Classic and Classic + and can't tell a difference except visually. With that said, I switched to the 314/3 a few months ago and again, can't tell a difference at all.

League timeouts: advice for team captains

Man that sounds like a terrible experience. I'm actually not a fan of what all the couches are allowed to do in my league, but, verbal only would be very frustrating. Also, three time outs a game? At that point you're not even playing your opponent, you're playing the couch. My league is in fact...

Dropping The Sock - Keeping Connected

DrCue'sProtege, The sock thing sounds interesting and I'd like to read your results after you've tried it. With that said, I also had a minor swoop to the inside and all I did to fix it was move my forward foot out (not forward or back) about an inch or two. This squared up the torso to...

League timeouts: advice for team captains

I use lag speed. Half your lag, lag, and double your lag. With that said, I watch their lag and adjust my advise based off their results. I also try to give them the simplest form of the shot possible. One thing I do that I've never seen anyone else do is I take the cueball if it's ball in...
