I looked through the years around that time, nothing! The plot thickens... Maybe it wasn't APA, that's what he said but he may have been mistaken, which is funny because in the interview he talks about having a genius level memory.

If you read what I wrote I doubt it was a masters team, Chris lists 6 people that were on the team. Masters has 4 people per team.

Masters is APA, not BCA. If they played Masters that’s a bit better but Masters only has 4 players on a team, I believe he listed more than that for the team they had. The normal APA team events have 8 player teams.

Because they did not belong to the APA or any similar league. Their friend made up a fictitious league to get them in there. APA is handicapped. I wonder what their fake handicaps were? And yes, if you go into a tournament like this drastically under handicapped you are robbing the tournament.
