I don't own a room either, but encountered Delta -13 in a pool hall & found that they are large enough to accomodate fingers. holes in corners permit you to lift rack, & they are indestructible. I bought one for my home table.
varying workouts
My basement will only accommodate an 8' table & it happens to have 4.75" pockets. However, when I go to the city I go to the pool hall & workout on the tightest 9 footers & occasionally on a snooker table.
Are there inserts which can be used to vary pocket size?
pechauer cue
You have several posts on this cue in which you say "you won it" in a raffle & another in which you say a "friend won it."
Also, I can't find it in the Pechauer sites.
In the discussions of elements for consideration in designing a custom cue, the term "full splice" comes up as being desirable.
Excuse my ignorance, but an explanation would be appreciated.
KIA vs Mercedes
I was told that the shaft was the most important component so I merely purchased the Players cue because the butt fit. Your analogy is quite correct.
If I want to uprade, what are your suggestions?
low deflection shaft on a custom cue
I'm confused. I have a Universal Smart shaft. Would the cuemaker make an LD shaft or merely make a butt to match my USS?
low deflection shaft on a custom cue
I am accustomed to the Universal Smart shaft. Am I to conclude that a custom cue can not be made with a low deflection shaft?
Therefore is it impossible to have the superior "hit" of a custom cue & the ease of the low deflection shaft?

Allison Fisher
Allison is so consistent & deliberate that I found studying her pause using the wind/rewind option on my Direct TV recordings of her was quite helpful.
