I still chuckle till this day when you and I played straight pool on my table and when it was my turn to rack I grabbed the key ball and put it in the rack. I can still see your face when it had "What the hell are you doing?" written all over it.

Thanks. All but the router and carbon fiber was pretty cheap. Around 60 bucks or so. The jackscrew was $72.
Carbon fiber i had left over from my drone flying days. Had a guy water cut it for me for 25 bucks.
I am currently using a drill :). I have a nema 27 that I will eventually incorporate but I have a couple more things I want to add to it before doing that. And I want to start building cues dammit!
Finally finished my home-made taper bar! Works great! Here are some pics and a video of it's operation. I 3d printed the carriage brackets etc. The router is mounted on 10mm thick carbon fiber plate. The frame is made with 20x20 extruded aluminum. It is spring loaded and adjustable.
