i think something that could also really help you would be sit down and watch a video on youtube watch the jon schmidt video of him running 200 and somthing in his buddies garage he commentates and it helped some of my friends who were at a similar skill level to you

powder coat if you want to make it look awesome... i had a bunch of GC III that i powdercoated the corner caps and it looked awesome a little pricey but wayyyyyyyyyyyy worth it

honestly it depends for me sometimes you can get that flap just so flat it doesnt even matter. with my customers i use my better judgment on the table the players ect ect i do alot of tables for housing development clubhouses i just staple em and flap em
