My Shuriken Butterfly cue is kind of a turd. Not only is the pin drilled off-center, but the shaft has warped so badly the tip comes off the table around an inch when rolled...It is not longer even usable for a break cue. But for $100, what can you expect.

What a silly argument. Of course she would beat most of us on here, that does not mean she is the number 1 ranked chick in the world.

Why not buy from them? Because they are never in stock anywhere. Also, they do not feel any better (to me) than any of the other big name production cues. Claiming that no other cue on the planet fits together as tightly as a Mezz is just ridiculous. Please prove it, and not with just "trust me...

I have played a few Mezz cues. They feel ok, but nothing Earth shattering. Fit and finish appears to be no better than the big players. The biggest issue is availability. The Mcdermott warranty is tough to beat. Predators also have great resale, and sell very quickly.

I prefer wrapless. I have never tried a linen wrap that I like. They are very slippery to me....And I have tried dozens of different linen wraps. I do not get the hype.

While I agree to a certain extent, it would not surprise me if someone could build a competitive shaft out of their workshop. Something like the Longoni shaft that does not have a seam would be more difficult, but a standard carbon tubed shaft could be done. Would it be worth while cost wise...
