Why are Viking cues so often overlooked?

I hated their designs in the 80's with all the pearl accents and crazy colors but they are great playing made in USA cues.

    Lighting question

Go to a local electrical distributor and tell them what you are trying to accomplish. Many have lighting guru's who can calculate what you need. There are published specs somewhere (I believe for WPBA) that have recommended light levels. Beyond the panels others have suggested you may be able to...

How many luman's and what color temp do you think is good for my table's light?

I found an old post of mine showing what a 2x4 5000 Lumen LED flat panel would do. At the time they were around $100. They are half of that now. https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?467623&p=6065043#post6065043

How many luman's and what color temp do you think is good for my table's light?

One Lumen over 1 square foot equals one foot candle. The only specs I have seen is WPBA listed years ago that every spot on the table had to have at least 48 foot candles. I would shoot for an average around 100 to take care of any fixture coverage issues. There is quite a lot of of lumen loss...

Converting my diamond light to led or not

If you want additional information on this google LED Type B tube conversion. Type B are the ballast bypass which run on 120 volts bypassing the ballast. I am not sure which tombstones or specific lamps the Diamond lights have (HO are single pin- standard are bipin) but in any case Leviton (mfg...

    Need Fluorescent/LED Light Help

I have always wondered why they use the celled diffusers. In commercial applications they were big in the 80's when we all had those rounded CRT screens instead of the flat computer screens we have now. Their intent was to knock out the high angle light which caused reflections on the rounded...

    9ft Diamond light t-12 or t-8 bulbs

From what I can tell if they are 8 footers they are F96T8 HO. If they are 4 footers they are standard bipin T8. I am hoping for your sake they are the 4 footers as they are less costly and energy efficient.

    Need Fluorescent/LED Light Help

BobTFromIl... you are correct... Both are T8. The T8 8Ft is HO. There are replacement tubes for that but haven't seen any for 4 ft HO. I sold very few of these. Most customers retrofitted an 8 footer via a kit which turned the 8 foot tube into two 4 footers via an insert kit to keep from buying...

    Need Fluorescent/LED Light Help

Can you get me a part number on the lamp or ballast? Most standard fluorescent are bipin (two pins). The single pin is a High Output T12 generally. I don't know of anyone who makes a LED retro lamp to work on that ballast for these but happy to try to help once you figure it out. I haven't seen...
