People who use cte are smarter and therefore less likely to follow the crowds wacky advice and actually use medicines that work in curing COVID. Imo

Seems like i remember Stan saying that cte helps you find the angle of the shot in a repeatable way. I am probably a 6 or 7 out of 10 on my mastery of cte. So the the part about the 2 to 1ratio helps because the perception of the angles are simular on different size tables.

Both are nessacary. But the stroke comes into play even more on a long shot. Any movement can effect the stroke. Also unstable bridge hand effects stroke. If you stay focused you can see if you hit the target, then you should know why you missed.

I can tell you the issue is probably not aiming. Although their may be times you aren't seeing the balls as well as when you're on your game. When this occurs you may find that you are moving ever so slightly when delivering the cue wich throws off the stroke. Shoot some long straight in shots...
Did you make any changes to pocket sizes? What brand is this table? Curious as to why you chose black. I like the natural wood grain look. It shows more with a brown stain. I opted for Championship tournament edition cloth. Not as fast as Somonis but close and some say more durable.

I been off for a while. But seems to me your probably a great player. If I played that good I would just offer to play some these jerks and let your playing do the talking. Many talk big until they need to put up some cash.

Thanks for the post. Mostly liked it. But adjusting for those in between angle shots is not easy. Probably easier to just go to a 3/4 tip pivot if you think its between the 5 degree increments. Unless your playing on a table with tightly shimmed pockets most shot will work without any...
I agree that its not an all inclusive cte video. I think i liked Chris' vid cuz He explained the pivot and had the camera showing his look down the cue. That said, i watched several of your vids and others and none of them were complete (all inclusive cte) in an understandable way. just a little...
I respect that perspective. That's why i say if what you're doing works then don't change it. Im a taller person so cte or simular systems make it easier to have same look at the shots when standing and helps with more consistent body alignment when transferring down to the shot line. So as a...
I respect that. If you feel you have strong game i say keep doing whatever is working. I sometimes mix aiming systems on certain shots. Like choosing a girlfriend, choosing an aiming system is a personal matter. So i won't beat you up over that choice or bash your girlfriend. If you like her...
I was fortunate in that about 5 years ago I was around some top notch players. They had one thing in common: aiming while standing up. So i practiced lots doing this. It was awkward at first. I tried a few systems using the aim while standing up and my game improved about 1.5 balls. Since i had...
Yet they seem to know alot about cte to not be using it. Sounds like they are not being honest. Like they know its a great system but dont want anyone else to know about it. It was refreshing to revisit some of Stan's vids now that i understand more of the terminology and the perceptions. He...
