    That darn glue.

I used to use that style, but it was cumbersome to change the blades. This style is much easier to use. Especially, once you sand the protrusions off from the blade surface. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-4-in-Metal-Wall-Scraper-WPS-HUS/310955143

    Glue

Slocum, 3M-10, or Parabond M250. I use Slocum exclusively, but I have experience with the others. I've never had any issues at all, when installing Teflon coated cloth. The glue still wicks into the fibers of the cloth. Because you are applying it to both bonding surfaces, it bonds to itself...

    Mechanic looking clarity.

I suppose the better question is: How are you measuring this level of precision? It is not uncommon for slate to not be perfectly flat, despite being precision ground. This is due to many factors. That said, you can span a straight edge across the entire surface, and take some readings from your...

Sound deadening or felt to quiet a Valley

Put some foam inside the cabinet. Some people have mentioned even using old blankets or sleeping bags.

    APA finals diamond table

Is it actually red? Or is it orange? I could understand if it were orange, as it would match everything else.... Still ugly as sin, but it would make sense.... Red is a definite 'NO', for me.

    That darn glue.

Razor blades are a bit too flimsy, and will easily dig into the slate... Utility blades are better. Toluene is outstanding for removing glue build-up, but it is very toxic, much like Xylene... For thick stuff, you can use an oscillating multi-tool, with a scraper blade

    Brunswick Tournament Elite Bar Table

That table in the photo is a 9' Gold Crown 7. It is NOT the new Tournament Elite bar table.

    Anniversary values

I think that I was on my phone when I previously looked at this. The streaks in the pedestal, made me think that the veneer was wasted. However, it might just be an ugly veneer. Either way, I still think that $3K is high for one of these, in the current condition.

    New Olhausen tournament model..................

Grand Champion is the name of the Tournament Pro predecessor.

    New Olhausen tournament model..................

I wondered if this might be the case... I'm hoping to learn a LOT more about these tables, in the coming weeks. Interestingly enough, the Sales Sheet, on the Olhausen website states that the tables use "tournament standard" 1 7/16" nose height. I'm not aware of any manufacturer that uses...

    New Olhausen tournament model..................

The Grand Champion (predecessor to the Tournament Pro) is $9814. I would guess that the Tournament Pro would have to be a fair bit more, considering the 1-pc slate, and the new pocket design.

Gold Crown 1 rehab. Lots of questions...

Thanks for the tips! I actually have a Grizzly 5HP cabinet table saw, and a shop full of Grizzly woodworking equipment that I've never even plugged in. I've got a 24" planer with a Shelix helical cutterhead, a 24" drum sander, a 14" vertical bandsaw, an 8" jointer, and a large cyclone dust...

For those of You that don't know... The BreakRAK is getting some attention...

You could have stated your opinion with one post. Yet, you have single-handedly carried this thread for 3 pages, with your Dunning-Kruger remarks on the product and those who have found it to be useful. It's a good product. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple as that.
