Great post. As a newer player I have had a lot of timeouts called when I am playing by well meaning teammates. Often suggesting I do something I am not capable of pulling off. I get it. When you are good at something, it's very hard to remember what it was like to not be good at it.

I bought my EC-9 in April last year. Great cue. Sold out is not the same as discontinued. These models or others may be discontinued but if you go by the sold out label than the entire lineup of Mezz cues are discontinued,

The Mezz cues at $600 (EC-9) series come with a LD shaft. The Sigma shaft. Carbin fiber is more. To my knowledge, Mezz does not sell a standard wooden shaft.

Why is a glove a must have with a carbon fiber shaft?
