I’ve always wondered why most billiard player play with a wrapless cue and put a rubber grip on it. I get that billiard balls are heavier and you hit the balls harder.

I was with Dennis at his house in Michigan at the time he was auctioning Carl Conlon things around 1995. There was a very thick binder of notes showing hand drawn diagrams. I will see I still have it.

You can go to Billiards Warehouse, order the scorpion joint 3/8 x 14 Protectors. The female willl be alittle snug and it will pop the plastic logo cap off. It will loosen up after a few tries.

That has not been my experience either. I’ve sent over 12 cues over the last 3 years, nothing but excellent service and quick turn around. They’ve always taken credit card payments.
