I've Left the BreakRAK Company as Operations Manager, machinist, assembler, sales & shipping Clerk

It was a great run & I met so many folks in the Pool World. I've seen many go from good to "HARD TO BEAT" with my invention. I played Pool since I was 14, but Snooker caught my interest for 20 years. One day, I entered the Pool Room & the Snooker table was GONE. The owner said, "What do you...

I was a Tooling Engineer for the BOEING Co, for about 30 years, I worked on the 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, the Space Shuttle & started when the Saturn 5 was the launch vehicle. I designed little Machine Tools & Major Assembly Tools... all over America, but Mostly Seattle.. When I Retired, I was...

Looking for a solid American cue

I nominate Guido Orlandi, he made a Magic Wand for me. He has developed an extraordinary Joint. It is made on the order of a Morse Taper, Which guarantees concentricity & Longitudinal straightness in both pieces.

I think so, he has room full of inventory & bunch of them made... "I think" meaning he has some older sons, who may take over Operations

As of yesterday, Mr. Vern McGee & I are no longer working together, for "The GREAT Break Shot Company (i.e., the BreakRAK). I think Mr Vern Mcgee will become the new owner & I will just be part of the BreakRAK's history. It's been fun, Good Luck to all of you. It was a good 25 year run. I'm 83 &...

The Cue Ball doesn't know what it has hit. It just does what it does, naturally. it caroms off to a rail, a pocket or off table. The BRAK shakes, shudders & resets, waiting for the next round.

We did actually make one, without the Cords or Rods... it was for instructors who realized they could act as a caddie & re-spot the BRAK. And we sold a few. As for data about kickback, rack some up & see what you find out. For 25 years, Owners have agreed the Brak's reaction is Correct.

My reponse came from personal experience. Somebody aiding in assembly, put too much loctite in the assembly of the BreakRAK shock absorber. IT wasn't a shock absorber then, It was a solid mass. When hit the BRAK did slide, but the Cue Ball rebounded, as I first described. The BRAK had to be...

Well, for starters you might get to eat the Cue Ball. At impact. the Rack dissipates its resistance, as it scatters. Without the Shock Absorber, on the BreakRAK, The Cue ball rebounds like it does, off of a concrete floor. The idea is for the Cue Ball to be realistic in its response, so that...

Its a free world... for my money I want to control Whitey & the Cue Ball. If I'm not cheating, I can't control what The Rack does. I want to control the One Ball & Whitey in 9 Ball. 8 ball is another game , but control of whitey is still important.

In a good Break Shot, the Cue Ball doesn't want to go into that area. The Rack Area is a place that will cover you up, leaving you no option, but to Push Out, if that's an option. It hasn't been reported as a bad idea, for the last 25 years...
