    Rip Danny Diliberto

    RIP Danny. I was fortunate enough to get hang around him quite a bit at the Golden 8 Ball in Phoenix where he was the house pro along with owner David Lee. Always very nice.

    Dean DeForest

    Dean was a very strong player from St. Louis (Illinois side). Played him once gambling around 1990 and he beat me pretty bad. I was green so not much threat to him. He was probably around 10-15 years older than me. In todays terms, I would guestimate him to be about a 720 Fargo.

    I played regularly in the Golden 8ball in Phoenix in the late 80's and early 90's. Lebron played in the regular Monday night 9ball a couple times. He was handicapped a 14 and Roger Griifis was a 13. Deliberto was the house pro but never played in the tournaments.

    I played for the first time since 2003 and thought all the tables i played on, about 10 with practicing, played great. The pockets were very fair and not overly tight. I like the venue and enjoyed the tournament. Jay
