Duane's comment sent me over the edge, ha. Martin, aka jazznpool, has made the purchasing experience fantastic! Quick to respond to my questions, professional and just all around very helpful. Can't wait to play with this beauty!
Nice cue but are you sure it's a block letter? I'm still learning about JOSS but I thought blocks were produced 1968 and into the late 70s. The cue above looks like a more recent N series cue.
Following your comments below, helping a fella date his cues. What does your eye tell you about mine? Who would you think is the maker or perhaps it was often a group effort? Thank you in advance for any help.
Thank you! I really enjoy the simple butt inlay design and veneer color combo. Tempted to have (at least) the butt refinished by Proficient at some point. That wont happen for a while though, I've been playing daily since she arrived and have no plans to put her down :)
First post on the forum and excited to share my new JOSS!
Sweet 4 color veneer of purple - orange - teal - thick orange...maybe that makes it a 5 veneer. Either way it's a great looking cue.
Balance and hit are great! Not to sure on the year but the logo is pretty neat, so I'd guess early...
