They were winning/losing according to the spread. I agree, not enforceable. Colluding to defraud the bettors is pretty rotten. Having cold hard evidence of it in text messages will really upset anyone who has lost money on either of them.

Neither will ever get their reputation back from this. No amount of money is worth your good name.
