I also agree stroke and stance are both key elements. I don't think the grip or stroke have to be a certain way for everyone though. As evidence of all the top pros with different grips and strokes. You just got to find out what combo works best for you and try different stances and strokes...

Thanks for the comments and opinions about weights of cues for women. I will probably just go with the 19oz since that is what her current cue probably is. Like Bob Byrne says, "Give me a broom stick with a good tip, I'll shoot some good pool, and sweep up the joint afterwards" or something...
