St. Louis Billards History My grandfather, Richard "Dick" Philpot, was a die-hard 3-cushion billards player. He LOVED it!! He was born in 1912 and died in 1988. I'm not sure of the names of any of the billard halls where he played but he used to joke when he was headed out the door to play...
