I have a pechauer rogue that I want to replace the ferrule but I want to know how you protected the carbon fiber from being scratched. I have a cue Smith lathe mid size Iam wondering how to cut the ferrule down without scratching the carbon fiber

Hey everyone. I am wondering if anyone had tried to replace the ferrule on a carbon fiber shaft? If so is there any videos showing how to do it. Really need some help. Thanks
