I am building a bumperless cue with extension insert right now. No problems at all. Just bury the insert to the right depth.

It was no as good as the Cue Wax made by Chem Pac before they sold out. The best wax ever is no more unfortunately.

That was new cues built for the show. There were plenty of Ivory inlaid cues on display from the collectors.

This would work great in single elimination format, But would create a nightmare for double elimination.
