    Why 2 Shafts?

    I forgot I had ordered 2 shafts for my custom, my cue maker got the butt and 1 shaft ready for me so I could enter JB's case contest.... Whoops, guess I need to be more patient.

    Why 2 Shafts?

    I don't understand why people have two shafts... I have a 1x2 case and now I feel that I need another matching shaft for my cue. Some people told me they have two identical shafts for when the first one is wearing down they switch to the other. Another person(my father) said he had two...

    Soft Breaking in 9-Ball with Playing Cue

    I break hard, and have broken a 314/2.... currently on my second 314/2 with the same break and *knock on wood* hasn't broke yet.

    I heard cracking noises from my Alex Brick J/B... I must be breaking wrong :( edit: to the point people on surrounding tables asked if I broke my cue.

    Hillbilly taught me how to get full power out of my break, and with my breaker the cb would go 4-6ft in the air, with my player it would only go a foot or two. The problem is, if I didn't hit it accurately the player would stay on the table where as the breaker would end up hitting a railbird.
