    Unknown Cue

I saw pictures of two, they all did not have the ring work at every joint and the ferrule material is different. But it could be, I have not found any recent pictures. The ones on the internet were nearly 20 years old. The pictures siad they were made in Taiwan.

    Thoroughbred Tips

Finding a tip I really like is like an easter egg hunt with people giving you hints on where the best eggs are hidden. And with the price of some of the tips out there you can get hundreds of dollars in the hole quickly. I have a thoroughbred M-H on one of my Keilwood shafts and I like it. I...

    Unknown Cue

The person I got it from said it was made by a Pilipino cue maker. But he did not have a name. I am not in this cue for much at all. The cue is super nice and plays fantastic.

    Unknown Cue

It has a 3/8-11 pin nothing under the bumper. No markings anywhere. It appears to be a very nice SW tribute/clone/counterfeit slash whatever you want to call it.

    Unknown Cue

In some trading I got this cue. I know what it looks like. And I am not under the impression that this is authentic. It is super nice the fit and finish is top tier. I can't find any markings that might identify the builder. The wear on the bumper seems to indicate it has seen years of play. And...

What would be your ruling on this shot

We had a 9 ball tournament. The shooter tired to make the 9 ball with a combo shot. The 9 ball hangs in the corner pocket. The next shooter to the table shoots the 2 ball towards the 9 ball hanging in the pocket. The 9 ball falls when the 2 ball is 6" away. The 2 ball falls into the pocket...

    FS: Old Spliced Jerry Olivier

The blemish on the butt is not through the finish. So the butt could be done without messing with the forearm. I have had signed cues refinished with no problems. But it does depend on what type of finish is used. The forearm is in very good shape and does not require a refinish. A good...

    FS: Old Spliced Jerry Olivier

The hit is great. Everyone who has tried it loves it. Just have not had anyone pull the trigger to buy it. The price is pretty firm, It is a really great cue for the price. I would be asking more if it was not for the finish blemish on the butt.

No offers, or any questions. I guess I will keep it up for a bit longer and then just keep this cue in my locker.

    McDermott Defy

Here are my impressions of Defy Shaft. I am 60 years old and have played on a wide variety of equipment. I wanted a Defy shaft when the carbon fiber shafts started hitting the market. Defy was out of stock everywhere. I wound up buying a Cuetec Cynergy shaft. Played with it for a couple of...

    Mcdermott Defy Shaft

I have had a Defy shaft for about 6 months now. And I really do not have any issues with it being sticky. It will pick up dirt quicker than other CF shafts but I keep a microfiber cloth and some ultra glide that came with my shaft. I use it once a week or so to keep it slick as Owl Shit as my...

    FS: Old Spliced Jerry Olivier

I am selling this spliced Jerry Olivier Birds Eye maple forearm with Black/Blue/Natural veneers with ebony points. Original shaft and McDermott G-Core extra shaft. Leather lizard print wrap. The cue shows signs of normal wear. It has a spot on the butt that goes around the cue just below the...
