no you cant chalk up too much, look at Efren the keeps the chalk moving on his tip as he studies the layout of the ball. you will get very dirty hands-something I like, I play better with dirty hands-pool dirt, I awalys wash up so there is no oil/grease on my hands before I play, but after that I dont care how blue my hands get.
