They ARE easy to keep clean, just wipe it off after every session, plus another point if you do it with IPA.

I'm not a regular only because stock moves so slowly here in Singapore. But I've decided to ramp up my quantities this time but he's not replying. =(

Has anyone gotten a reply from Joe at any of his listed emails? I've been trying to get a hold of him for a year now and there's no reply at all his emails.

Update: Ordered a Rhino shaft in Q-loc(essentially Uni-loc) and it encounters strong resistance leaving about a .5mm gap at the joint, the pilot clears so I'm guessing it's the pin diameter that is slightly smaller on the shaft insert causing that tension. Tidbit here is, after screwing it in...

Is it so hard to take a photo of the item with your username(which is not your real name) and a date stamp? Or is this just a 64 year-old thing? Unfortunately, this is how we prevent scams nowadays. Don't be gullible and just be as cautious as we can. If it's legitimate I'd sure be happy to...

And on top of that, when and if the cutter gets wrecked, just swap the cutting bit out and it's good to go.

What grit do you start "lighting sand" with?

Glad your mission was accomplished, it was an exciting read. All this reading is making consider a KW shaft as my maple is also 4.0oz and was initially worried about KW all coming in under 3.8oz.....You have given me something new to explore. Would you mind letting me know which maker is this?

Are these laminated maple?

Just remember that some brands have an extra pad at the top of the ferrule(namely Predator and Mezz) so don't take that off. Sometimes a small slip of the mind and there goes the pad.
