Two great matches in a row for Savannah at the World 8 ball championship. Down 3-0 to Pia Filler she comes back to win 8-5 in the round of 16. Then down 4-0 to Fefilova, she gets to hill-hill and beats her 8-7 in the Quarter finals. Fun to watch.

The word pro actually has a defined meaning. It means professional. Someone who makes something their profession. Whether you wish the word Pro to mean "great player" or not doesn't change the meaning of the word. You can suck at pool, and be a professional pool player.

They just had the National Championships and 14.1 was on the docket, as was 9 ball, 8 ball, and 10 ball. They played in the Under 19 in both boys and girs.

Definitely call me a loser then. When I'm just playing a game for fun—not a tournament and not for money—I'm often trying fun shots that I would never try for money, and I'm also spending time chatting with others and concentrating just enough to make sure I know when it's my turn...

Digitalpool.com - I purchased all the side tables for the entire event. 8ball, 9ball, 10ball, 14.1 - men, women, under 19, wheelchair, etc... $19.99 for th entire event and it's been fun.

Fun watching Savannah and Jordan play 14.1 this morning. Not used to seeing young people playing straight pool. Kind of fun as they clearly don't know the rules. They keep turning to the ref and asking questions (as when Savannah accidentally pocketed two balls on one shot).

There have been some interesting matches. I'm a pretty low to average player - probabably playing in the mid 500s fargo. So for me, watching folk run out racks is always a learning process. Watching Oscar Dominguez, Tyler Styer, SVB and others play is a learning process. Actually its been great...
