The Python inserts look great. I wish the price was still $45. Unfortunately, he now wants $79 just for the inserts. That is WAY too much money for some pieces of leather.

I think the Professional with the type 1 peds looks the best, IMHO. The Pro-Am has ball return, the Professional doesn't. You can get the Professional with three piece or one piece slate. They will sell it to you either way.

Thanks for the pics. The table I looked at must have been double/triple shimmed....I could actually see and feel the extensions through the cloth. I'm in Louisiana, btw. For other reasons, I've decided to not buy that table.

I'm getting ready to buy my first pool table. I've located a Brunswick Gold Crown II. The seller said he had "The Billiard Factory" installed new cushions (longer rails with 4.5" pockets) and cloth (Simonis 860) about 5 years ago. He doesn't know which brand cushions. Since I'm new to pool...

Looking for a 9' Brunswick Gold Crown. Any model as long as it's in good condition and priced reasonably. Must be located in Southeast Texas/Southwest Louisiana between Houston, TX and Lafayette, LA or close to it.
