Cue butt a bit warped - fix it or leave it?

This post isn't directed at anyone in particular. Did you not play well before nothing said warp? You're mind is not on the game if it's on the warp. .

    Table Leveling Specification

I've recovered tables for over 1/2 century now and I prefer a slow rolling ball on the bare slate for leveling. Most of my jobs are not the higher end customers. Many times the cloth chosen/purchased by customer has imperfections which will cause ball roll-offs. I do inform the customer of...

    Table Leveling Specification

In Kenosha, Wi. there's a pool league that deems this table is level. YES that cue ball did pick up speed to drop in the pocket otherwise the speed was enough to lay at or on the rail. .

Does the measle cue ball cause more skids

I picked up a Measles Ball & noticed no difference between the Red Dot, Red Circle or Aramith ball. I've noticed when I put it on the table for league practice the guys would take longer lining up the shot. What I observe is they're distracted by the dots & when they miss blame it on the...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

No idea where I picked up this ball set. Curious if anyone has info of this style of balls. .

Bought the new plastic template to line up pool balls for practice

Interesting idea. Sets a row of balls for consistent practice shots. You'll find which angle(s) gives you issues, even pro's have them. . . .

Playing up against better players-advice please

Keep buying them beer until you win. OK-ok, seriously... Watch others how they stroke, position, shooting style, etc.. It's FREE tuition. Find what might work for you and practice, A LOT. .

How big a challenge to add ball return to a drop pocket table?

I did it for $12 back in the early 1990s to a different mfg table, American Heritage, with a short skirt. Took about an hour for the returns, 1 hr for the tray. The returns were dark brown and blended well with the dark wood. .

    Power forward roll?

THANKS GUYS for the help (my teammates are useless in that dept). When I hard top roll, my tip extends beyond the cue ball momentarily until the forward roll grabs the cloth. I have sightly Whippy Meucci's. They bend UP then whip down onto the cue ball. I've lowered the tip a little, shortened...

    Power forward roll?

Last night I did some different angles on Power Top Rolls. Found 2 issues. 1- Leveled the stick and use a higher tip contact. Can't do that when OB is real close to the CB. 2- In the past, my follow through always seem to double hit the ball. So at point of contact I began lifting the tip with...

    Power forward roll?

Bob J.: That's quite possibly what I'm doing sub-conscientiously, lowering my tip. Will work on that tonight. Measureman: I'll have to setup my phone's video to see that jump along with the possible poor follow through stroke. THANKS ALL.

    Power forward roll?

I'm a fan of open bridge on most shots but when it comes to draw & power forward closed bridge is a must. With max draw shots I've learned to create a slight jump shot so the cue ball loses near zero reverse at impact. Doing that on power forward causes cue & object ball jumping thus losing 'X'...
