I haven't bought the cushions yet. I have decided based on the input here that I will use Simonis 860 and spend the extra $100 since it is used on most torunament tables.

As for cushions I am leaning toward bringing my rails to an authorized Olehausen dealer to have them replace my cushions with Acu-fast then completing the cloth myself.

I have written to a couple guys here to see if I can get a price on cushions but have not gotten any replys yet. I will let you know when I do..

I bought my table from a private owner back in the 90's. I had it installed by a guy named Markus can't remember his last name but he used to do installs for Syracuse pool and Spa in Syracuse. They are an Authorized Olehausen dealer.

Based on what I have learned here the old tables did not have Acu-fast cushions so I am facing the same issue you are dead cushion syndrome..

If I were you since the table is in parts now I would have a qualified mechanic replace the cushions and cloth and have the same person do a professional install. You will be happy with the table for years to come if it is done right. You may want to send a PM to Pool911 Pat or Rick and ask for a reccomendation for a qualified mechanic to do the job. Otherwise you could try contacting a local pool hall to see who does their maintenance work and setups. Last suggestion is call Syracuse pool and spa on South Bay rd in Cicero to get a reference for an installer.
