I think the only problem might be with the finish applied to the cue. When it arrives I would allow the unopened package to acclimatize slowly (several hours) to room temperature before opening to avoid the shock of a sudden temperature change.

Thanks guys. The damp microfiber hardly touched it so I will probably try one of the products mentioned. Actually it is not too bad so I may just have to live with it but I sure don't like to see it on my new cloth. Fred
