I posted this on the main forum and got a lot of good information and advice. Thanks again every one that's helped me.

I just made arrangements for the stick to be refinished as iusedtoberich and others had mentioned. It should be ready and back to me by June 10th. You guys are great with all the information you're giving me. Thanks again.

Thanks ddawg. It is a beautiful stick. It looks better in person. It hits solid. It plays well. Mottey made nice sticks, too bad he doesn't make them anymore. This one was made in 1985. If you're interested in buying it I'm open to legitimate offers.
