Jerry - I am sorry, but I never saw your question about playing snooker on worsted cloths like Simonis 860 and 760.
From personal experience...it is no fun.
Simonis 760 runs way to fast for easy position play and 860 seems to make the balls wobble. Both are excellent cloths for pool - but for the English games, it just doesn't quite work since they traditionally use a combination of thick napped cloth and really light balls.
