I have a Thomas Wayne with these (incomplete) jount protectors. I dont think Thomas made them. Anybody know who did, or where I can get a set?

I understand the difference btwn a full splice & short splice......but how do you know if a cue was spliced vs. the points just being inlaid? For example, were all of Tim Scruggs / Bill McDaniel's cues spliced? I assume some of the mass produced (i.e. McDermott) are inlaid points vs. spliced?

It isnt a carom shaft Carl had a line of pool cues from Helmstster that were wood screws

Not absolutely perfect (if rolled on felt) but pretty damn straight center of screw to cener of tip.

SOLD Back in 1990 I bought a Helmstetter pool cue from Carl Conlon. He was playing 3-cushion at University of Michigan; and selling cues on the side. He had a nice Helmstetter line of pool cues with wooden screw shafts. Long story, but I bought one (loved it) let a friend borrow the cue ...
